Vessel Management Plan – MV Krait
Krait is a national treasure and is registered as an Official War Memorial in Australia. Such is the acknowledgement and respect for this vessel and what she and the fourteen operatives achieved. Her continuous care and maintenance is a tribute to Australians and especially the Australian War Memorial and Australian National Maritime Museum. Selbourne Letter
Evidence that not only had John Curtin the Prime Minister of Australia recommended Lyon for a Victoria Cross, Francis Ford had lobbied hard the British Minister for Economic Warfare (SOE) Lord Selbourne whilst visiting England to increase Ivan Lyon's recommendation to a Victoria Cross. To which Selbourne and the Military Secretary accepted his higher recommendation.
Included is a transcript of Selbourne's letter highlights to Ivan Lyon’s father the three witness rule for a VC. The Tiger’s Revenge Enhanced Edition explains the reasoning why this may have been overruled.
Cockleshell Heroes-Operation Jaywick a strategic analysis
Cockleshell Heroes is a globally acknowledged heroic act and operation, actually named (Operation Frankton) Churchill said that it shortened the duration of the war, something many historians have struggled to evidence. Operation Jaywick was an audacious success something acknowledged by the most senior commanders but is still little known or understood.
